Sotheby’s International Realty

  • The current year-to-date average sales price for all Sotheby’s International Realty offices in the United States is $1.04 million.

  • The average listing price for all Sotheby’s International Realty network properties is $1.6 million, which is more than 3.5 times the U.S. national average sales price.

  • On a full-year basis, the Sotheby’s International Realty network has experienced 590 percent growth in overall transaction sides from 2004 to 2006.

  • During that same time frame, the Sotheby’s International Realty network has increased its overall sales volume by 384 percent to $26.5 billion through year-end 2006, compared to $5.5 billion in 2004.

  • Sotheby’s International Realty company-owned operations went from 17 offices and 523 agents in 2004 to 53 office and over 2,300 agents today.

  • The Sotheby’s International Realty network now has 103 member companies, with over 435 offices and 8,000 agents in operating in 26 countries worldwide.

  • Currently, the Sotheby’s International Realty network has more than 6,000 properties listed at or above $1 million U.S. dollars, including more than 800 above $5 million, and 9 properties listed above $50 million.

  • In July, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, LLC reached the milestone of adding its 100th U.S. brokerage company to its luxury real estate network since we first began the franchise model in 2004.

  • On the international growth front, the Sotheby’s International Realty brand recently signed exclusive licensing agreements for Japan, Morocco and Moscow, and new affiliate offices were opened in Mallorca, Madrid and Costa del Sol.

  • In just three years, the Sotheby’s International Realty network has opened offices in 26 countries or territories, and has agreements in place to expand to an additional 19 countries.

  • Earlier this year, Sotheby’s International Realty sold the Cojo and Jalama Ranches listed at $140 million, setting a record for the state of California and likely the nation.

  • Last week, Sotheby’s International Realty sold a $25 million property that was a listing referral from our Litchfield to Manhattan office, sold by another Manhattan agent.

  • Sotheby’s International Realty also just listed the premier equestrian estate in the U.S., Hummingbird Nest Ranch, at $75 million.

  • Today we have many quality Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate brokers who left Christie’s to join our luxury franchise network.
